The Department of Pharmaceutics focuses on transforming drug molecules into safe, effective, and patient-friendly dosage forms. The department provides comprehensive education and training in Pharmaceutics, Physical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Dispensing, Biopharmaceutics, and Novel Drug Delivery Systems.
Students gain knowledge of dosage form design, ADME principles, bioavailability, and bioequivalence. The department is equipped with modern laboratories and advanced instruments such as Laminar Air Flow Units, Autoclaves, BOD Incubators, Membrane Filtration Assemblies, Centrifuges, and Electrophoresis Units.
Practical training is provided in the formulation, processing, and evaluation of tablets, capsules, liquids, semisolids, parenteral, and novel drug delivery systems. With experienced faculty, advanced infrastructure, and a research-oriented environment, the department continuously strives for excellence in teaching, training, and innovation to meet the evolving needs of pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
