Admission Process

Eligibility

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates:

  1. The candidate should be a citizen of India and resident of Maharashtra;
  2. The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually:
    "Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-classrooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B.Pharm Course";
  3. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations; and
  4. The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non-zero score in MHT-CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

(2) All India Candidature Candidates:

  1. The candidate should be a citizen of India;
  2. The candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually:
    "Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-classrooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B.Pharm Course";
  3. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations; and
  4. The candidate should obtain non-zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET and should obtain non-zero score in MHT-CET conducted by the Competent Authority;
    “Provided that, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) over the candidates who obtained non-zero score in MHT-CET."

(3) Non Resident Indian (NRI) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National Candidature Candidate:

  1. The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination conducted by the respective State or Central Government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually:
    "Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-classrooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B.Pharm Course";
  2. Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
